A wet, sold-out edition at Het Rutbeek, with country, Americana and plenty of patience on the way to the festival site.
For many visitors, Tuckerville 2019 began in a long traffic queue and continued beneath persistent rain clouds. Early performances by Ilse DeLange and Duncan Laurence were missed as a result, but the programme still had plenty to offer. BLØF, The Teskey Brothers, Douwe Bob, Rowwen Hèze and James Morrison suited the relaxed character of Het Rutbeek. Despite the conditions, the festival’s musical identity remained intact.
