Eleven hours of music, 41 artists and a Chasséveld that never stood still, from the opening act to Afrojack’s finale.
The strength of 538 Koningsdag lies in its pace. Acts follow each other rapidly while the stage and crowd keep changing character. Bankzitters drew a packed field early in the day, Bente literally took to the air and Roxy Dekker showed she can command a stage of this size. DI-RECT and Afrojack then brought the long day to a convincing finale, with room for celebration as well as a moving moment of silence.
