An orange Chasséveld, more than forty artists and a programme that kept moving at high speed from Son Mieux to Krezip.
538 Koningsdag 2024 combined a huge number of short performances with a clear festival arc. Son Mieux set the tone before MEAU, Miss Montreal, Douwe Bob, Bankzitters and Roxy Dekker repeatedly re-engaged the crowd. Guus Meeuwis, Suzan & Freek and Krezip added extra live weight towards the end. The scale was large, yet the rapid programme kept the day immediate and close.
