More than forty artists, 40,000 visitors and a Chasséveld that barely lost time thanks to its rotating stage.
The 2023 edition showed how strong 538 Koningsdag is as a live production. Son Mieux opened the day before the acts followed one another with minimal interruption. From Bankzitters, Miss Montreal and Chef’Special to Davina Michelle, DI-RECT and Armin van Buuren, every style received a short, concentrated moment. The result was not a collection of separate performances, but one continuous movement through Dutch pop culture.
